At the end of a long and rewarding career in public education, I studied metalsmithing, created an inventory, and purchased a motorhome. JadedGoatsMobileStudio, inspired by the transient life of Charles McCartney, the Goatman (Google or Wikipedia him for more), was on the road.
It took only a couple of seasons for me to realize I didn't particularly enjoy constant traveling from one art/craft show to another. Packing up in Savannah Sunday evening; unpacking in St. Louis on Friday; on to Austin the following week.
So I settled down in Santa Fe and set up a permanent work space. I still travel and do some shows every year. I enjoy them thoroughly, probably because I limit them and allow myself more time to work on jewelry at home in my studio.
My customers don't have to wait for the annual arts/crafts fair in their town. Every piece in my inventory is available in my Etsy shop, and I will ship it within 24 hours. Your satisfaction is guaranteed; my goal is to make you -- not just a customer -- a repeat customer!
